1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website.
2. Services Provided
Medivik provides paediatric healthcare services including consultations, assessments, and treatment for children and adolescents. Services are provided by qualified medical practitioners registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
3. Appointments and Cancellations
3.1 Booking
Appointments can be made by phone, email, or through our referral process. A valid referral from a general practitioner is required for most services.
3.2 Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee
- Repeated missed appointments without notice may result in removal from our patient list
3.3 Late Arrivals
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment to ensure quality care for all patients.
4. Fees and Payment
4.1 Consultation Fees
- Fees are payable at the time of consultation unless prior arrangements have been made
- We accept cash, EFTPOS, and credit cards
- Medicare and health fund rebates apply where applicable
4.2 Medicare Billing
- We bulk bill eligible patients where applicable
- You will be informed of all costs before the consultation
- Medicare claiming requires a valid Medicare card
4.3 Health Insurance
- We are recognised providers for most major health funds
- You are responsible for understanding your level of cover
- Any gap payments are your responsibility
5. Medical Records and Information
5.1 Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about your child’s medical history, current medications, and health conditions. Failure to provide accurate information may affect the quality of care.
5.2 Access to Records
You have the right to access your child’s medical records in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws. Requests should be made in writing.
5.3 Transfer of Records
If you transfer to another healthcare provider, we will provide copies of relevant medical records upon written request and with appropriate consent.
6. Confidentiality and Privacy
All personal and health information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). By using our services, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
7. Clinical Care and Responsibilities
7.1 Standard of Care
We provide care in accordance with accepted medical standards and best practices. However, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
7.2 Referrals
We may refer your child to specialists or other healthcare providers when clinically appropriate. You are responsible for following through with referrals.
7.3 Emergency Care
Our clinic is not an emergency service. In case of a medical emergency, call 000 or attend your nearest emergency department.
7.4 After-Hours Care
For urgent concerns outside business hours, please contact your general practitioner’s after-hours service or present to the emergency department.
8. Parent/Guardian Responsibilities
As a parent or legal guardian, you agree to:
- Provide accurate medical and personal information
- Follow treatment recommendations and medication instructions
- Attend scheduled appointments or provide adequate notice of cancellation
- Ensure payment of fees
- Update us on any changes to contact or medical information
- Supervise your child appropriately while on our premises
9. Website Use
9.1 Acceptable Use
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the website.
9.2 Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of VSV Cares Pty Ltd or used with permission. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

11. Complaints and Feedback
11.1 Complaint Process
If you have a complaint about our services:
- Contact our practice manager in writing or by phone
- We will acknowledge your complaint within 7 days
- We will investigate and respond within 30 days
- We will work with you to resolve the issue

12. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate services if:
- Fees remain unpaid despite reasonable notice
- There is abusive or threatening behaviour toward staff
- There are repeated missed appointments without notice
- There is a breakdown in the doctor-patient relationship
13. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with the effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of amended terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
